EUR futures: rallies stay tepid

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, open interest rose by more than 7.7K contracts on Thursday from Wednesday’s final 549,546 contracts. Volume, instead, decreased sharply for the second consecutive day, this time by almost 115K contracts.

EUR/USD upside capped above 1.1700

EUR/USD is looking to extend the rebound for the third session in a row at the end of the week. However, rising prices amidst choppy activity in open interest and declining volume leave the bearish scenario unchanged while rallies are seen limited above the 1.1700 handle.
