Forex: AUD/USD extends gain to fresh daily highs
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Aussie took another step higher and printed a fresh 5-day high against the dollar at the beginning of the American session. AUD/USD was lifted earlier by comments from RBA board member saying that high AUD does not require policy response.
AUD/USD rose as high as 1.0476 before easing slightly and it is currently trading at the 1.0470 zone, recording a 0.5% gain on Tuesday.
As for technical levels, if AUD/USD extends gains beyond 1.0475, next resistances are seen at 1.0495/1.0500 (Apr 3 high/psychological level) and 1.0555 (Jan 24 high). On the other hand, if the AUD loses momentum, supports could be faced at 1.0430 (20-hour SMA), 1.0400 (psychological level) and 1.0380.
AUD/USD rose as high as 1.0476 before easing slightly and it is currently trading at the 1.0470 zone, recording a 0.5% gain on Tuesday.
