US Apr NAHB Housing Market Index decreases to 42 vs 44 (Mar)

According to Macro Strategy Analysts J. Reid and C. Tan at Deutsche Bank, “Ahead of us this week is a busy seven days of politics, earnings and economic data, which are all primed to move markets.” On the earnings side, about a quarter of the S&P500 by market cap will be reporting quarterly results. Setting the tone on the macro side will be the Q1 results from many of the big banks including Citigroup who report today before the US market open.
