US: Nonfarm Payrolls rise by 165K in April

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The number of people on the payrolls of all non-agricultural businesses in the US increased by 165K in April, from 88K registered in March, the US Department of Labor reported today. Market consensus pointed to a 145K increase.

The Unemployment Rate decreased to 7.5% from 7.6%, against expectations of remaining at the same level.
